Summer 2022 Mindful Self Compassion Intensive Now Open for Registration!

Oh my what a few years it has been. In my hometown of Ottawa, Canada, multiple lockdowns, closed restaurants and schools, anxiety, polarization, feelings of isolation for everyone.

I am now filled with joy to invite those who are ready to join me for the first IN PERSON MINDFUL SELF COMPASSION INTENSIVE I have guided since 2019. We have booked the gorgeous Ecology Retreat Centre in Mono, Ontario (Toronto International Airport closes airport) for six nights and five days of full immersion in mindfulness in nature, self compassion practices, essentially the FULL eight week research-based course in Mindful Self Compassion developed by researchers and psychologists Drs Kristin Neff and Christopoher Germer in one dose. For American and overseas friends, all fees are in Canadian dollars, which are very favourable for you :).

To limit risks associated with COVID-19 we will be following all recommended guidelines from the Chief Medical Officer of Public Health in the Province of Ontario and the management of the Ecology Retreat Centre.

To protect all MSC Intensive participants we plan on limited registrations in line with the recommendations on gathering size suggested by the Chief Medical Office of Public Health in the Province of Ontario. (Book soon as the places are filling up and we have not yet advertised widely!).

To limit contact all rooms will be single accommodations only, there will be assigned space and lots of room in group indoor sessions, and as is usual with all of Dr Sogge’s MSC events, there will be lots of practice out of doors in nature to connect to Compassionate Ecological Self on the grounds of the beautiful Ecology Retreat Centre.
