Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness is a particular way of paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, without judgment (JKZ).  Mindfulness practice has been shown to be an effective approach for managing stress and anxiety, as well as an effective strategy for preventing the re-occurrence of depression.  I have been trained in the 8 week MBSR curriculum model originally developed by Dr. Jon Kabat Zinn at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine.  I have been delighted to teach forms of MBSR to children and adolescents, as well as to adults and professionals.  At this time I am able to offer MBSR on an ongoing individual basis, and periodically on a group basis.  Watch my Workshops/Classes link for online registration and upcoming announcements about group events.
