Dr. Kimberly Sogge C.Psych. offers mindfulness and compassion training for individuals and groups, which include part day, one day, 8 week, and online mindfulness and compassionate mind training options. With her partner Peter Lloyd MBA, Level IV CCC coach and mPEAK trainer, Kimberly serves as a co-teacher of the Mindful Performance Enhancement and Knowledge (mPEAK) curriculum for high performance, developed specifically for athletes, leaders and other high performance individuals.
Mindfulness and Compassion Daylong and Multi-Day Retreats and Intensives
Dr. Sogge also offers mindfulness and compassion meditation one day and multi-day retreats and Mindful Self Compassion 5 day intensives at Ottawa River Psychology Group and at locations in Eastern Ontario and Quebec, Canada.
Mindfulness and Compassion Meditation Practice Support
Dr. Sogge offers monthly mindfulness practice sessions at Wild Blue Mindfulness studio at Ottawa River Psychology Group in Ottawa, Canada. She offers in person and online support for beginning and advanced mindfulness and compassion meditation practitioners seeking to deepen their practice.
Mindfulness and Compassion Professional Training Credentials
Dr. Sogge holds a Ph.D. as a psychologist, with an extensive background in Behavioral Medicine; she is a Certified Mindfulness Teacher – Professional Level with the International Mindfulness Teachers’ Association (IMTA), is approved by the Center for Mindful Self Compassion as a Certified Mindful Self Compassion Teacher, and is registered with the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare, and Society as a mindfulness based stress reduction teacher (grandfathered). She is a registered yoga teacher (200 hr RYT) and a member of the Class of 2016 Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation Teacher specialized training program with the Spirit Rock Meditation Center in California. She has trained with Spirit Rock Senior Teacher Mark Coleman for two years as an Awake in the Wild Mindfulness in Nature facilitator, and facilitates retreats and trainings on mindfulness in natural environments.
In her private practice of psychology, Dr Sogge offers Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Integrated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindful Self Compassion training, and other “third wave” mindfulness based treatments such as ACT and MBCT for trauma, depression, anxiety and interpersonal problems.
