What is the cost?

Most Sogge & Associates’ services are covered by most private health insurance plans.  We also see individuals for confidential services on an private pay basis.

Sogge & Associates’ fees are competitive with those of other psychologists in the Ottawa area.  Our fees are presently below the rate of $220.00 per hour recommended by the Ontario Psychological Association in 2011.

Although research shows psychological services are related to improved healthcare outcomes and decreased health costs, these services are not covered by OHIP.

Sogge & Associates provides electronic receipts on a monthly basis, for you to submit for reimbursement from private insurance plans.

Payment is due at the time of service. You may pay in session or through secure online payment.

Groups range between $500-$1500 depending on length and frequency of course sessions. Typical groups are between 6 and 8 sessions at 90-180 minutes per session, depending on the topic. Maximum group size is 12.Psychological assessments range between $900 and $3000 depending on the type and complexity of the assessment and tests required. This practice offers full service confidential psychological and psychoeducational assessment for both adolescents and adults.

April 7, 2012 NOTICE REGARDING FEES:

As of June 1, 2012 there will be two rates at Sogge & Associates Practice in Psychology.  Services from principal and psychologist, Dr. Kimberly Sogge, C.Psych. will be billed at $205.00 CAD per clinical hour for individual services.  Services from associate psychologists Dr. Laura Nichols, Dr. David Smith, and Mr. David Hesidence will continue to be billed at $185.00 per clinical hour for individual services.
