Hosted by Institute for Mindfulness Studies in the “hippest neighbourhood in Canada” in downtown Toronto, this 5-day full time MSC program, taught by Dr. Kimberly Sogge C.Psych. registered clinical health psychologist and MSC Certified Teacher, is an intensive form of the internationally recognized, eight-session Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training developed by Christopher Germer and Kristin Neff.
The MSC 5 Day Intensive is open to laypeople and professionals alike. Participants will learn to: understand the science of self-compassion, practice self-compassion in daily life, motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism, meet difficult emotions with greater ease, transform challenging relationships, learn tools to manage caregiver fatigue, and teach simple self-compassion practices to others. This program fulfills the pre-requisite for MSC teacher training. CE hours available.
