FOR REGULATED HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS ONLY
This is a private consultation group for regulated health care professionals interested offering mindfulness based interventions (MBSR, MBCT, MiCBT, MSC etc.) in a skillful, trauma informed manner. This three 3-hour session series assumes some familiarity with mindfulness and MBIs; sessions will combine mindfulness practice, inquiry, didactic instruction, and case consultation in an intimate and confidential peer group of other practicing health care professionals. Group size will be limited to five participants.
Dr. Kimberly Sogge C.Psych. is a registered clinical health psychologist, International Mindfulness Teachers’ Association certified mindfulness teacher, certified Mindful Self Compassion teacher and mindfulness practitioner with over 14 years of practice and retreat experience.
Each session in this three part consultation series will include a personal practice component with inquiry, a didactic component, and a consultation component.
Sessions will occur in the private meditation room and/or conference room at Ottawa River Psychology Group on 44 Hawthorne Avenue just off of Pretoria Bridge in Centretown Ottawa.

Practice & Inquiry: Dealing with Difficult Experiences with Mindfulness
Didactic: Trauma Informed Mindfulness
Theme of Case Consultation: Creating Safeness; Embodiment; Generalizing MBIs to Daily Functioning
